Attractions in Krabi
One of Krabi's special attractions includes the twin limestone peaks Kanap Nam which is placed like two sentinels on each side of the river. Krabi is also one of the very few places in Thailand that offer organized rock climbing. Climbers from all over the world come here to find challenges in the limestone pillars. Rumors say that only the south of France can compete with the climbing difficulty this area offers.
Transport to and around Krabi
Most people reach Krabi by train or bus from Bangkok or Phuket, but you can also fly directly into Krabi International Airport, located only 10 km from Krabi's city limits. Since Krabi is located on the coast, a lot of local transport is operated by boat. Otherwise it is easy to get around by taxis and other local transportation.
