This course is the next step in increasing your knowledge and developing your skills in the world of diving. Besides extending your limits, it will make your diving safer and more enjoyable. The course consists of 5 dives, each of them explores a new area of diving, like deep diving, night diving, navigation or underwater photography. It is a playful course giving you experience and control in the water by simply diving with different purposes and goals. It is a special course, which should be done in a special place. Nusa Lembognan Islands is for sure a special place
There's very few things that are as cool as a thriving reef, and you find them around Nusa Lembognan due to the rich waters and stronger currents (don't worry, there's always a calm bay if you are not into current) But if you are, you will have the possibility of drift diving here, as you have rarely drift dived before! But, besides reefs in incredible conditions, the nutrient water attracts the larger marine life like the manta rays. And all year round, you can find yourself diving with these gracious animals at Nusa Lembognan, up close, on the cleaning stations where the big animals circles again and again to let the little fish clean their bodies. It is a mind-blowing sight. Full stop. If you are going between June and October, you have a great chance of seeing the weird and heavy Mola Mola (Oceanic Sunfish). We could write pages of this strange and incredible animal. But really, there's not enough space in this little brochure. Go GOOGLE!
The PADI Advanced Open Water course will get you even more comfortable
in the water by simply completing five adventure dives under the
supervision of a PADI Instructor. If you're looking to build your
confidence and gain more experience, this is the natural next step on
the ladder. The course is designed so you can go straight into it after
the Open Water Diver course. The course builds on what you've already
learned and develops new capabilities by introducing you to new
activities in diving.
The PADI Advanced Open Water Course is performance based. That means you have to understand and pass the theory and perform the in-water skills correctly and with ease. Therefore, the itinerary can vary slightly from course to course. The course will take 2 to 3 days depending on the students enrolled. 5 dives will be spread out on the available days. No more than 3 training dives will be conducted each day.
We HIGHLY recommend that you book an extra night of accommodation so you do not have to check out on the last day of your course.
Your resort Is a little atmospheric oasis! There’s a lovely pool to hang out in (sometimes you will be accompanied by divers training their skills). We are big fan of their eco friendly approach. They recycle, grow their own fruits and have the Aquatic Alliance research team based at the resort. Daily Yoga classes are on offer on site as well. Uhmm! The bungalows can be fully booked in high season. It is good to book 3 months in advance. Your Room The bungalows have a cool outside bathroom and a simple clean double bed bedroom. It is not white shiny Hilton, but a cozy bungalow with your own porch, where they are happy to serve breakfast - in your hammock of course!
No transfer included - check brochure for options and directions
All year - Mola Mola season July to October
If you want a longer itinerary, you can add extra days of diving and accommodation upon booking. Please note: Due to ocean and weather conditions, the itinerary can be subject to change.
