  • Days 1-2 New York Area, Philadelphia & Washington DC

First stop is Philadelphia, or 'Philly' if you want to be down with the locals. Check out the Liberty Bell, eat a famous Philly cheesesteak sandwich and climb the steps from the movie 'Rocky'! Cast your eyes on Independence Hall where brave men gathered at the Pennsylvania State House and defied the King of England, an event which helped shape the US Constitution. You may want to head down to Reading Terminal Market for a bite to eat - including THAT famous cheesesteak! Then head to the nation's capital, Washington DC. When it comes to DC's museums 'Land of the Free' is spot on and the sensational Smithsonian Museums are well worth a visit for all the culture vultures amongst you. Hiring a bike is a great way to get around the city and see all its wonderful buildings and monuments. Accommodation: Camping included

  • Days 3 Lancaster

Visit an Amish community where you'll join a buggy farm tour. Here a local will show you a unique way of life which hasn't changed in over 200 years. Be prepared to feel completely humbled as you see people who live for family life and keep things simple with no mod-cons; there's no Wi-Fi here! Return to modern life via a scenic drive through the rolling countryside that inspired a nation to fight for its freedom. Tonight, your home is under a million stars, where you can settle in to a simple life of your very own. Accommodation: Camping included

  • Days 4 Niagara Falls

Niagara Falls is three waterfalls all rolled into one, so you can only imagine how epic it will be to witness this natural wonder with your own eyes. From the edge of Lake Ontario you'll see the crashing water is stupendous and the noise just as immense. For the ultimate front row seat, hop aboard your included 'Maid of the Mist' boat tour and get up close to the majestic falls... just be prepared to get a little wet! Accommodation: Camping included

  • Days 5-6 Boston

With two nights in 'Bean Town' you'll have plenty of time to explore! Walk the Freedom Trail and relive the revolution, visiting historical sites that uncover America's significant past. Lounge on Boston Common or enjoy a local tipple at Trillium's beer garden on the green way. For a delicious array of food stalls, pop across to Faneuil Hall or Quincy Market. Boston is famous for its baseball and football teams, so sports fans can try to catch the Red Sox or New England Patriots in action. Accommodation: Hostel included (multi-share)

  • Days 7 Boston to New York Area

From one great city to another, make sure you give yourself an extra day or two after the tour to explore the sights and sounds of New York City. From the bright lights of Times Square to the quirky borough of Brooklyn, this city has so much to offer everyone. Splurge along Fifth Ave, hit the top of the Empire State Building, or soak up the trendy, laidback vibe of Greenwich Village before heading home.
