Tropical Beach, Langkawi

Langkawi is one of Malaysia's most popular travel destinations and offers many exciting experiences both on land and at sea. Langkawi is also the perfect place if you need a relaxing break at the beach, between your city vacation in Bangkok and your onward journey to Kuala Lumpur or Singapore.

Expect blue skies, a dazing sun, white beaches, and waves breaking on the shore below tilting palm trees! Pulau Langkawi, or just Langkawi, is the main island among the 99 paradise islands, surrounded by the turquoise waves of the Andaman Sea. This is where you arrive if you fly to Langkawi from Kuala Lumpur, Penang, Singapore, Subang or Hat Yai (Thailand). Most of the islands are otherwise uninhabited and wild in many places - incredibly beautiful - both above and below sea level.

Langkawi highlights

Langkawi’s hills are covered with lush green vegetation, where you can spot eagles, unique butterflies and other exotic wildlife. You can also opt in for a spectacular cable car ride which takes you 705 meters up in the mountains and gives you a great view of Langkawi.

Langkawi Sky Bridge

While you are up in the mountains, make sure to visit one of the true landmarks of Langkawi, the 125 meter curved pedestrain Sky Bridge, known as one of the scariest suspension bridges of the world. Check out all our day tours and sightseeing activies in Langkawi.
