The archipelago is a true Pacific paradise and an ideal place to stop on the journey between New Zealand and the United States or vice versa. Active volcanos and mysterious crater lakes in Vanuatu

Aforementioned volcano, reportedly the most accessible in the world, is called Mount Yasur. This 361 meter high volcano is constantly active and smoldering, just as several other volcanoes in Vanuatu. A trip to Yasur can easily be arranged in Vanuatu. 

One of the more remote islands in Vanuatu is Aoba or Amba Iceland, which is largely made up of mysterious, misty forests and a series of equally mysterious and beautiful crater lakes in several colors. This place is not easily accessible, but certainly worth the effort on the trip to Vanuatu. 

Travel to Port Vila - the capital of Vanuatu

Vanuatu's capital Port Vila on the island of Efate is the center of the country's tourism. It's a nice and pleasant place with lots of colonial charm, good restaurants and beautiful views of the surrounding lagoons from almost every hotel room.

Near Port Vila you can try abseiling from waterfalls, parasailing over the coast, explore fascinating caves with stalactites and much more.
