A true round the world adventure awaits you! It’s a rough start with an off-the-beaten-track overland-adventure through Latin America from Rio to Cancun. Pit stop in California and then discover China on a shoestring. Final destination is Africa and since you’re already familiar with overland travel, why not jump onboard a safari truck and cover the plains of South Africa, Namibia, and Botswana.

1. Rio de Janeiro, Brazil

Start your voyage in South America's largest country. Brazil is worth spending time in: wildlife and rainforest, samba, cities and of course, football. The best way to take a grip on all of it is to join one of the overland tours or adventures and enjoy the ride! 

2. Quito, Ecuador

After the great Brazil enter the Spanish speaking part of South America. Continue your journey with a language course and prepare yourself for future adventures. After mastering Spanish, explore the Galapagos Islands and jump on adventures starting in Quito. 

3. Bogota, Colombia

Explore the less known part of Latin America and fall for Colombia. Get the true Colombia experience on a shorter adventure or if you choose to spend a little bit more time in your new favourite place join the overland tours and let the raw and pure Columbian atmosphere really sink in. 

4. Panama City, Panama

Panama is an affordable destination for active travellers, who are not interested in mass tourism - that's you! Tropical Panama conceals distant islands, untouched beaches and coral reefs that awaits snorklers. Central America is small, yet, full of pleasant surprises! 

5. Cancun, Mexico

Cancun is a perfect combination of history and beaches. Enjoy the vibrant nightlife and relaxed atmosphereBe prepared to meet other travelers, humidity and heat!

6. Los Angeles, USA

Hope you relaxed well in Mexico, for there is no time sleep in Los Angeles. Rent a car and cruise around the city, shop 'til you drop and visit the different ethnic neighborhoods, go and be amazed in Grand Canyon!  

7. San Francisco, USA

Hippies and financial blokes side by side, relaxing on the beach and party hard late in the night. San Francisco is full of culture, sights, restaurants, treks and adventures. Stay as long you want - there are new blocks to see and things to do every day!

8. Beijing, China

China is one of the oldest civilizations in the world and one of the fastest growing economies. The contrasts and the mere size of the country assure that there is plenty to experience as long as you have time. Trek in China and discover the secrets of Beijing and Shanghai. Explore China on a one day tour or go crazy and tour around for months!   

9. Hong Kong, China

Welcome to Hong Kong, the Asian cosmopolitan and home to more than 7 million people. This is the place for city lovers, although, Hong Kong also holds peaceful beaches and mighty surfing spots, great trekking possibilities and history adventures.

10. Cape Town, South Africa

When in South Africa safari is a must. And once you're on this animal theme why not dive with sharks or volunteer for the well being of penguins or big cats. Rent a car to see more or join in the overland adventures and expand your Africa experience to Tanzania, zambia, Zimbabwe, Botswana, Namibia. You can also travel with a flexible bus pass with other backpackers.

11. Johannesburg, South Africa

Johannesburg is the biggest city in South Africa. Visit Soweto township and see Nelson Mandela's old home. Experience nature by camping in the Kruger National Park and before heading home volunteer in a humanitarian or wildlife program.
