How to get to Koh Lanta
Koh Lanta is located 70 km from Krabi and you can get here by flying in to Krabi International Airport or Phuket Airport. There are car ferries going to Koh Lanta so you can rent a scooter and take it with you to Koh Lanta. From Koh Lanta you can travel to Koh Phi Phi and Krabi by boat.

There is really not much going on on Koh Lanta. The best way to explore Koh Lanta is by renting a scooter or chartering your own tuk-tuk. Take a ride to the waterfall or to one of the caves on the island. If you want to go on a boat tour there is a wide range of local options. Koh Rok Nok and the reefs around Koh Lanta are fantastic.
Diving and water activities at Koh Lanta
Diving in Koh Lanta is superb, the beach is chalked white, and there are good chances of spotting a large monitor lizard. If you keep on south you can buy boat passes that are valid for Koh Muk and Koh Ngai. You also have the possibility to rent a sea kayak, to do some snorkelling or to learn how to cook the local Thai food.
